Take a Peek at the Evernight Oddities Art Club

Still not sure about joining the Evernight Oddities Art Club? Here’s a preview of the first edition:

September ‘25

How has your summer been? It’s hotter than the Nine Hells here in Bloodmoon Bay. You would think the persistent cloud cover would do something to block the heat but it just makes it feel… swampy. And not in a good way.

My little shop, Evernight Oddities, is in a bit of a slump I’m sorry to say. With the werewolf convention getting postponed (not a bad thing in my opinion since every wolf I’ve seen lately has looked like a miserable drowned puppy) and the sirens keeping to deeper waters due to this oppressive heat, the normal summer visitors are no where to be seen. I may have to break down and do the thing I swore never to do again: set up a booth at Critter Bits and Bobs. The “Eyeball Incident” from last year still gives me nightmares. If you have any brilliant ideas that will keep me away from those tiny organ dealers, do let me know.

Things have been quiet at home other than the constant bumping in the walls. I do hope the neighbors haven’t lost track of their poltergeist again. It took weeks to lure the poor soul back home last time… I’m afraid I have greatly neglected the night garden my Great Aunt Desdemona planted. It is completely overgrown. Perhaps if I cleaned it up, I could get enough gold from the harvest to cast a few new enchantments on the shop. It might be worth all the dirt I would get under my finger nails.

Well, I must be off as it is time to open the shop for the day.

In darkness and decadence, Evernight

P.S. Spark seems to be going through another

growth spurt. Soon I’ll have to build him a bigger

plinth, he’s practically falling off the current one.
