We begin our journey in Gala, a small town and one of the last bastions of civilization on the frontier of the unexplored wilds. Every month there is a Call to Adventure where would be adventurers can try their hand at a number or contracts. The caller, Torvald, proclaims that "The village of Bramblebark is having a problem with wolves that they would like solved." Kasiashi immediately jumps up to accept the call quickly followed by the rest. After all, a 500GP bounty is nothing to sneer at.
Hugh leads the group on the two day journey through the forest. The party makes camp to the far off sound of wolves howling. In the middle of the night, Bree is suddenly dragged from her tent by a wolf inciting a swift combat with the wolf pack. Varis utilized sleep magic to negate the wolves natural pack tactics and the party finished them off quickly. When the party returns to camp, they find a note by the fire,
"If you are alive to read this, welcome to the club. - The Lions of Dadun"
The party was officially hazed by one of the regular adventuring parties of Gala but they did manage to advance to level 2.
The party arrives at Bramblebark the next day where they get filled in on the details from Hora, one of the locals. She tells them that everything began with missing sheep. Then goats, chieckens, pigs and other livestock. So they put out a call to adventure that another adventuring party answered. That party was found in the woods after the first night, ripped to bits and pieces. Then everything changed. Then villagers began to disappear.
The party heads to the local inn where they meet Gila, who claims to be a merchant, but the party is immediately suspicious of. And lets just say the group didn't make a good impression on her either.
The party decides that since it was children and small people who had disappeared, that they would use Hugh as bait to lure out the werewolves. All of the sudden, the team on watch realize Hugh is gone but they never saw him get taken! The party takes off to search when snarls and screams lead them back to the inn. But the inn is empty and there are signs that someone, or something, fled out the window...
